Sonnet 18 ( White winter )
Shall I compare thee to a white winter,
Where snowflakes come falling down from the sky,
The snow do cover the animal's lair,
And winter's time moves quick, soon pass away.
When the time has come, you will soon fade away,
Melt by by the eye of heaven shining bright,
Your natural beauty will go away,
Like a firefly who lost its bright light.
But your winter shall not fade in my mind,
Nor lose possessions of your strong beauty,
You will be there when I am deaf and blind,
And we will stand together be mighty.
As long as men can live, or hearts can beat,
You will forever standing in my heart.
